This is a very serious single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside resort of Rothes. It was distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2020 after spending 32 years in a refill hatchery.
It features all the delicate and subtle notes of vanilla you would expect from such an earnest and sincere single malt. Please sip it with the quiet reverence and attention that it deserves. And please do not allow yourself to be beheld in the eyes of a salmon while consuming it. For it is against their religion to witness the sacred Spey Fluid being desecrated in human mouths under the emblem of their beloved deity: Jan Birch. Instead, why not open it while in the shower, and allow the viscous nectar to pour, unbidden over your naked and gleaming flesh. Or, for other 'top serves', why not get the creative juices flowing by hurling yourself face-first up a raging waterfall flanked by wild and ravenous bears desperate for the taste of living mammal after the long, cold drudge of hibernation.
